Hexnode Strengthens Endpoint Management Offering with Advanced Compliance, Automation, and Security Capabilities

Hexnode UEM (Unified Endpoint Management), the enterprise software division of Mitsogo Inc., announced a series of features and updates designed to help organizations strengthen compliance, automate endpoint operations, and more effectively manage security events. These enhancements reinforce Hexnode’s focus on enabling secure, scalable endpoint management for modern, distributed enterprises.

“Modern enterprises operate at scale and need security and management to be effortlessly integrated. Hexnode's motto is about transforming complexity into clarity, equipping IT and security teams with automation and deep visibility to secure every device, without compromising operational agility,” said Apu Pavithran, CEO and Founder, Hexnode.

Enhanced Compliance Framework and Conditional Access

Hexnode is significantly advancing its zero trust capabilities, offering enhanced compliance framework across iOS, Android, Windows, and macOS platforms. This new framework enables customized compliance checks, allowing administrators to define multi-condition rules and enforce policies based on factors like network status, device health metrics, and device ownership models.

To ensure only trusted users on vetted devices can access sensitive data, Hexnode has expanded its access control integrations:

  • Hexnode is now integrated with Microsoft Intune as a third-party device compliance partner.
  • It also features integration with Okta Device Trust to leverage conditional access capabilities.

Furthermore, Hexnode has introduced CIS Benchmark–aligned compliance features for macOS and Windows. These tools allow IT teams to apply industry-recognized security baselines across endpoints with minimal effort, helping maintain configuration consistency and improve audit readiness.

Automation for Simplified IT Workflows

Hexnode has significantly expanded its automation capabilities to help IT teams proactively manage devices at scale.

Hexnode UEM's “Alert profiles” elevate notification management, ensuring IT teams are instantly informed about critical events. This feature allows administrators to create tailored alert profiles for devices, users, and policies, and target alerts to specific technicians or device groups for greater precision.

This enhancement cuts down noise and dramatically improves response times.

Streamlined Windows Onboarding and Management

The new Windows Enrollment Profiles streamline the entire onboarding process, providing IT admins flexibility to create comprehensive setup profiles. This functionality gives IT admins the ability to:

  • Send profiles to multiple users instantly via email or SMS—no CSVs required.
  • Automate device grouping and streamline app deployments during enrollment.
  • Personalize device names for easier identification

This reduces manual work, ensures consistent configuration from day one, minimizes errors, and makes large deployments effortless.

Hexnode also supports the Local Administrator Password Solution (LAPS), automating the entire password management process for Windows devices. It creates strong, unique passwords for each device and rotates them on a schedule defined by the administrator. The system can even be set to change a password automatically shortly after it’s been viewed, ensuring it is never reused and significantly reducing credential-based attack risks.

Patch Deployment for Low-Bandwidth Environments

To effectively support organizations operating in remote or bandwidth-constrained locations, Hexnode has enhanced its offline patch management capabilities for both Windows and macOS devices. This setup utilizes distributed server sites to host updates locally. This strategy helps reduce internet bandwidth usage and speeds up content delivery by allowing devices to retrieve updates and patches over the local network instead of downloading them individually from Hexnode’s central cloud server.

Centralized Visibility for Unified Security

Hexnode has introduced a dedicated Incidents tab within the UEM console to serve as a central hub for administrators to easily monitor and manage critical and non-critical security events. This new section:

  • Consolidates critical events from various sources (apps, users, endpoints, and integrations) into one single, centralized view.
  • Reduces the need to navigate between different tabs for full visibility of all events an admin needs to be aware of.

This new tab is strategically designed to integrate with Hexnode’s XDR (Extended Detection and Response), creating an effective bridge between comprehensive endpoint management and advanced security operations.

These platform advancements underscore Hexnode’s persistent dedication to delivering a comprehensive UEM solution that tightly integrates compliance, automation, and security management. Hexnode plans to quickly evolve its capabilities to address wider enterprise security needs, establishing the UEM platform as a core component of future enterprise security and operations.
